Purpose:
The Iowa Office of the State Medical Examiner is providing twenty (20) grants for expenses incurred for medicolegal death investigation training for county medical examiners, deputy county medical examiners, and/or county medical examiner investigators.
Priority in awards will be given to Iowa counties and/or Native American reservations/settlements in Iowa that do not presently have medical examiners or investigative personnel who have received medicolegal death investigator training.
