    Purpose

The purpose of this RFA is to provide guidance for current contractors to submit continuation applications to the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (referred to as Agency) to renew service provisions as described by and within the project period established by the RFP #58821018 and RFP #58822007. Services covered by this application include providing core medical and support services to people living with HIV (PLHIV).  This program improves access to health and support services for low-income Iowans living with HIV. By using program data to monitor outcomes and identify barriers to care, the program supports case managers and community-based organizations in developing strategies that help clients stay engaged in care and achieve the best possible health outcomes.

Questions
Submitted DateQuestionAnswer
Dec 1, 2025 10:47 AMRegarding Occupancy-We rent offices in a coworking space and do not have the square footage of the whole floor where we rent. Can we either ask for the amount the offices cost for Iowa staff in our application, or divide the square footage of those offices by the amount of square footage we rent on the floor? We have the square footage of each office. You may divide the square footage of the offices primarily occupied by Iowa Ryan White Part B staff by the amount of square footage you rent on the floor.
Dec 4, 2025 11:05 AMWhen workplan measure states "number of services in remi" but in our case, we may have more accurate number in careware due to assistance outside of our client numbers, can we add that? You can always add information to your work plan in order to paint a better picture of what is happening at your agency.
