Description

• The LCAN Grant annual renewal process is open to returning LCANs that received funding in the previous year, are completing the previous year deliverables and are seeking to renew for Year II, III, IV, or a Sustaining Grant following Year IV of LCAN funding.  The Bureau of Iowa College Aid will consider annual renewal awards of up to $60,000 for LCANs in the Continuation phase (Years II, III and IV) and up to $30,000 for LCANs entering the Sustaining phase (after Year IV).  

  To be eligible for funding, applicants must continue to have an identified fiscal agent with 501(c) status.  (Please note: as part of Iowa College Aid's consideration of the grant application, financial records of the proposed LCAN Fiscal Agent may be requested for review. This could include but is not limited to: documentation of 501(c) status of Fiscal Agent, most recent audit report of fiscal agent, 990 Tax Forms, and/or operational budget. Iowa College Aid will contact you to request this information if it is pertinent to the review of the application).
