  Excerpts from the RFP:

  Purpose

  The purpose of this RFA is to provide guidance for current contractors to submit continuation applications to the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (referred to as Agency) to renew service provisions as described by and within the project period established by the RFP #58823003 and 58823022. Services covered by this application include family planning services and education for individuals and families who wish to prevent or achieve pregnancy. The Agency's Title X Program is available in the 56-county service area and based on the individualized needs of the clients and community. Family planning includes a broad range of medically approved services, which includes Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved contraceptive products and methods for clients who want to prevent pregnancy and space births, pregnancy testing and counseling, assistance to achieve pregnancy, basic infertility services, sexually transmitted infection (STI) services and other preconception health services.
