Purpose:
The Iowa Office of the State Medical Examiner is providing nine (10) grants for the reimbursement of expenses incurred for medicolegal death investigation training for county medical examiners, deputy county medical examiners, and/or county medical examiner investigators.
Priority in awards will be given to Iowa counties and/or Native American reservations/settlements in Iowa that do not presently have medical examiners or investigative personnel who have received medicolegal death investigator training.
