  This ITQ seeks to establish Geographic Areas of Concern that may be eligible to receive funding in connection with future funding opportunities issued by the Office. Several funding streams, including the American Rescue Plan Act Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund, America Rescue Plan Act Capital Projects Fund, and the Infrastructure Investments and Jobs Act Division F, Title I (“Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment Program” or “BEAD”) have all been established to support the deployment of broadband to unserved and underserved locations in the United States. This ITQ anticipates certain requirements that may be attached to state or federal funding sources selected by the State of Iowa for future broadband grant opportunities, but prospective Community Applicants should take into consideration that data solicited through this ITQ may be insufficient to warrant the allocation of funds under all future state or federal program funding opportunities that may be issued by the Office. Accordingly, the information solicited through this ITQ may require supplementation for Broadband Intervention Zones to be eligible for a specific funding source made available in connection with future grant opportunities issued by the Office. Successful Community Applicants may be required to periodically submit new data to the Office to remain on a list of Broadband Intervention Zones that are eligible to receive funding in conformance with guidelines for various state or federal funding sources that introduce additional requirements beyond the information solicited here.

  NOTE: This ITQ is NOT a grant opportunity. No funds are being offered in connection with this ITQ, nor does a successful application to this ITQ guarantee funding will be made available for any Broadband Intervention Zone in the future.
